In this project I envisioned the artistic re-interpretation of 'bombachas gauchas', a traditional trouser/pants used in the countryside of Uruguay and Argentina. Although I love using them because of their comfort and strength/durability, most young people in urban centers don't wear them because of the stigma associated with being a laborer in the countryside (agriculture, dairy and cattle raising sectors of the economy to name a few).  It occurred to me then that I could give bombachas a new spin if I create them with fabrics showcasing my art, and in particular my art generated with the help of computer algorithms in artificial intelligence.
