Genspace (http://genspace.org/) is a community bio-laboratory dedicated to promote citizen science and democtratizing access to biotechnology. It is located in Brooklyn and host a range of science projects as well as offer science classes to non-scientists.
I was a member of Genspace for a brief period of time and become aware of the activities that were taking place. For this reason, I was happy to donate a second hand Sanyo MRL-350 Plant Growth Chamber that I had previously bought.
I hope it will be of use in promoting plant science work among citizen scientists in Brookly.
